Leiderschap
Having worked in mission, church planting and fresh expressions of church for over 25 years, our overwhelming conclusion along with many others, is that leadership is the single most significant factor. If we are to see missional church, God's way is by giving the gracious gift of missional leaders. The gifts, skills and experience are significantly different from the leadership fostered and selected in inherited mode church.The processes for training and supporting such leaders are just as different. They are not by the traditional route of residential academic theology colleges or seminaries. In fact the extensive research of Christian Schwarz of Natural Church Development (www.ncd-international.org) identified a high negative correlation between seminary trained leaders and health and growth of the church.
